The competition is open to amateur and professional photographers from around the world. Entrants must be 16 years or over.

Short description

The Kuala Lumpur International Photoawards [KLPA] is an annual global portrait photography competition initiated in 2009 by Steven V-L Lee, a Malaysian photographer.

This year’s theme is “Portraits from the Street”.

“ Impress the jury with strong, enigmatic, and compelling portraits taken in all ‘street’ settings.

Each photographer may enter up to 10 images per submission.

Entry fees
• 1 image: US$15 
• 2 images: US$30
• 3-5 images: US$50
• 6-10 images: US$75

Prizes
• 1st Prize – US$2,000
• 2nd Prize – US$1,000
• 3rd Prize – US$500
