Who may enter
The competition is open to amateur and professional photographers from around the world. Entrants must be 16 years or over.

Short description

The Kuala Lumpur International Photoawards [KLPA] is an annual global portrait photography competition initiated in 2009 by Steven V-L Lee, a Malaysian photographer.

This year’s theme is “A Stranger’s Face : Travel Portraits”.

 We are looking for portraits that speak to the viewer on many levels, open conversations, and present an element of intrigue and uniqueness. Portraits may be posed or spontaneous, and can be photographed indoors or outdoors in any of the typical photography genres. 

AI-generated digital images are not permissible in any submission, whether in whole or in part.

• 1 image: €15 
• 2 images: €30
• 3-6 images: €45
• 7-10 images: €65

Prizes
• 1st Prize – €2,000
• 2nd Prize – €1,000
• 3rd Prize – €500
