Red – A Photography Exhibition

Red refuses neutrality. It marks a presence before a subject is understood, pulling the eye, disrupting balance, demanding attention. It exists as warning and desire, violence and tenderness, spectacle and absence. In photography, red can dominate a frame.
This theme invites an exploration of red not simply as a colour, but as a force within the image. Consider its emotional weight, symbolic charge, cultural associations, and visual intensity. Look for red in the ordinary and the unexpected, in landscapes, bodies, objects, architecture, light, and memory.
