Mono Orbit Awards / Edition 01 / EMISSION

Mono Orbit Awards is an international monochrome photography award dedicated exclusively to the built environment.
Edition /01 explores EMISSION – the visible and invisible traces produced by the environments we create. The theme may be approached literally or conceptually through architecture, infrastructure, industry, construction, transport, energy systems, public space and human-shaped landscapes.
There are no separate categories. Documentary, conceptual and other photographic approaches are considered together through one shared selection process.
One €20 entry fee allows each participant to submit one, two, three or four monochrome photographs. There is no additional fee for the second, third or fourth photograph.
Each photograph is considered individually in relation to the theme, the photographer’s perspective and the overall editorial and curatorial approach of the award.
