Who may enter
The contest is open to adults aged 18 and up, both amateur and professional photographers.

Short description

The contest is organized by the SPIE – the international society for optics and photonics located in Bellingham, USA.

The contest theme is the impact of light on life, nature, communities, and technology.

Each person may submit a maximum of two photos.

• 1st prize: US $2,500
• 2nd prize: US $1,000
